Ingredients:
2 1/2 Cups sugar
1/2 Cup Karo Syrup
1/4 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Cup water
1 Teaspoon vanilla
Cook until it forms a hard ball in cold water. While cooking beat two egg whites, three if eggs are small. Beat until stiff. Add syrup and keep beating. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and nuts if desired.

This is a light airy crispy brittle, that is not hard to make. This can be made ahead of the holidays and frozen.
