Ingredients:
1/2 Cup sugar
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1 1/2 Tablespoon flour
1 Cup dark corn syrup
3 Eggs, slightly beaten
1 Teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon melted butter
1 Cup pecan halves
Mix together dry ingredients. Combine with syrup and eggs and beat. Add vanilla and butter. Pour into an unbaked 9” inch pie shell and cover with pecans. Bake 300’ F. for 1 hour or until filling is set. Once filling is firm turn oven temperature up till crust is a golden brown. Be sure to watch carefully or it may burn.
