Ingredients:
3 Cups flour
1/4 Cup sugar
4 Teaspoon baking powder
1/2 Teaspoon cream of tarter
3/4 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Cup shortening
1 Egg, beaten
1 1/4 Cups milk
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, cream to tarter and salt, cut in shortening. Add milk and egg. stir until it forms a ball. Knead 20 times. Roll to 3/4 “ thick. Cut into biscuits-place on cookie sheet, freeze, then place in plastic bag-freeze. Bake as needed while frozen 475’F. for 15 to 20 minutes.
I make drop biscuits and freeze.
