Ingredients:
1 Cup brown sugar
1 Cup white sugar
1/8 Teaspoon salt
1 Cup white karo syrup
1 Cup cream
1 Teaspoon vanilla
Bring first four ingredients slowly until sugar is dissolved. Heat slowly-only stir occasionally. When all sugar is dissolved, remove from heat, and add the cream and vanilla.
Tip: Also good on hot cakes-omit vanilla. Flossie called it Dutch honey. Our Great Grandmother Konkel made it also.
